Looks nice. It's good to have a consistent design language and it fits right in with other scroll able items.

Cool
I think we're finally nearing the finishing point. I've been touching some things up and have even added a default reputation counter. The last hurdle that needs to be overcome is the installer -- well control panel is what I'm calling it now. I plan to have it allow you to install, uninstall, and update the theme. Got a lot of planning and thinking to do for this final part.

Is that all really needed? I mean I can see the installer and uninstaller, but the updater can that be done after theme has been presented? As an update? This way you can concentrate on the installer/uninstaller, when that's competed you can do the upgrader? As for the installer, it's just installing the files to the Forum Admin panel or will we need to copy and paste the codes over like other themes?
The installer will automatically install all files from the Github Repo onto your forum via an instructional file like this one. The uninstaller will use the same method as well.
As for the updater, it should be fairly easy to create. I'm thinking of creating a version manifest on Github which will be compared to one installed on the forum. If the one on the forum is out of date then the Founder will be able to update the forum theme. I think some sort of notification system for the founder will be necessary. It's better to launch with an updater, otherwise if Forumotion makes major updates or a bug is found I'd be unable to deliver update instructions directly to the forum founders.

Your right, might as well get all done before releasing it. I can certainly understand the part with forumotion making major changes.
Ange Tuteur wrote:Well, the installer is about near completed. All that's left is to work on the Uninstaller and Finally the Updater. Then we can begin a quick beta test.
YEA!!

I think i found a bug. I got the code from the github repo, created a html page. I installed the theme and everything was fine. Then i decided to test the reinstall thing and notice that after reinstalling I had 2 FAE Control Panel links in the menu.
Yep, better whole-ass, than half-ass, am I right ?BlackScorpion wrote:Your right, might as well get all done before releasing it. I can certainly understand the part with forumotion making major changes.
I got the uninstall completed, so now I'm working on the updater.

Just a little little thing to mention. The height of the sc-editor button row. Please adding some top and bottom padding to it, the area is kinda small to scroll. A bit more place for our finger would be nice lol.
Keep up the good work
